Everything is set for grand release of NTR and Krishnavamsi’s Rakhi. The film will be released with 250 prints. Speaking to the media today (December 19, 2006), producer K L Narayana said Rakhi to be released with 10 prints in USA it would be the highest in NTR’s films.

He also informed that Ileana is playing the role of a TV Channel reporter while Charmi appears as village belle.

“Both of them are integral to the story. They are not just mere glamour dolls,” he said.

“When Krishnavamsi narrated the story we were moved by it and immediately planned to go ahead. After seeing the film, I can say he’s shot more beautiful. It looks more gripping. I am sure it will be milestone film in NTR’s career,” he said delightedly.

The film was censored on Monday. “I am happy that the film got U/A certificate without any cuts,” Narayana told to the media.

He also seemed happy with Devisri Prasad’s music topping the chartbusters now.
