Ganguly in S Africa for Test series

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly reached South Africa on Tuesday to play in the three-test series starting December 15.

Selectors said his experience rather than his present form has brought him back to the Indian team.

Ganguly, who is likely to feature in the four-day tour game against a Rest of South Africa side in Potchesfroom from December 7, last played a Test for India in February this year vs Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Kaif, Suresh Raina, Dinesh Mongia and Ajit Agarkar have returned home after India's 4-0 thrashing in the One Day series.
